Udo Voigt, MEP, criticizes expropriations and racist murders in South Africa
As the only Western head of state, US President Donald Trump on Thursday sharply condemned the plans for expropriations of white farmers by the South African left-wing government. Trump also recalled the „mass killing“ of white farmers on this occasion.
In fact, since 1994, thousands of white farmers in South Africa have been victims of a silent genocide, but western media and politicians have been silent, while at other times they are outraged by actual or imagined human rights abuses. The wave of expropriation now beginning is unlikely to bother the European political establishment, unlike the US president.
The EU makes no secret of its demonstrative disinterest in the situation of the remaining whites in South Africa. A few months ago, German NPD MEP Udo Voigt asked in a written question how the Commission was positioning itself „on the possible expropriation of white farmers in South Africa without compensation.“ The answer from the European Commission is shameful. In its reply of 31 May, the EU Vice-Commissioner-in-Chief and Juncker’s deputy Mogherini responded with nothing but a statement „that a parliamentary process on land reform is underway and the South African President is determined to involve all stakeholders in this process. South Africa has strong democratic institutions and a robust, constitutionally-based system of separation of powers, which also extends to property rights. “
In the ears of white South Africans, such lines must sound like sheer mockery. The expropriation of the first 139 farmers started these days. Of course, the EU remained silent again.
Udo Voigt reminded in this context of the countless murders on whites and blacks in the 80s and 90s by the same people who are today responsible for the South African ruling party ANC, and reminded of the daily racist attacks and murders of white farmers who are tolerated or even promoted by the state. Voigt literally: „Being a farmer in South Africa is one of the most dangerous jobs in the world today. The EU is just watching and allowing the daily racism in the ‚rainbow nation‘ to happen, and makes itself in this way complicit. „
