MEP Udo Voigt declares his solidarity with Iran in the nuclear conflict
In the European Parliament, the disastrous decision of American President Trump to unilaterally skip the nuclear deal with Iran is also strongly criticized by German NPD MEP Udo Voigt. For Voigt, Trump’s hasty step, which is met with fierce opposition internationally, fits seamlessly into the chronicle of the US President’s dubious achievements and is also directly linked to Israel’s recent acts of war in violation of international law.
Voigt stated: „The US President once again left no doubt, with his lonely decision, that he does not respect international agreements and international law, but supports border violations and aggressive actions. Unfortunately, he proves to be a willing servant of Israel, which currently leaves no stone unturned to finally bring the Middle East to the explosion. The fact that worse has been prevented so far is due solely to the wise restraint of the partners of the Middle East in Syria, Russia and Iran. “
The NPD MEP is skeptical about the future of the nuclear agreement with Tehran, which Germany, France and the UK still want to stick to – „Britain is already on board with Washington anyway, and Macron has also participated in the recent air strike against Syria. The USA, center of international war crimes, is unleashed. And Federal Foreign Minister Maas, who represents the non-sovereign Federal Republic of Germany, could be summoned to service by Trump faster than he would like. “
As on previous occasions, Udo Voigt assures the Iranian people of his full solidarity, also in the light of the recent provocation from Washington. He recommends that Tehran’s political leadership „continues to radically uphold international law and agreements in force“, which Tehran has in no way violated, according to the International Atomic Energy Agency in Vienna (IAEA). Voigt: „International law and its defense against the Rambo-like manners of Israel and the US is the strongest weapon in the current conflict. Unfortunately, Tehran will not be able to expect any help from Germany, which today is not a sovereign country – but certainly from German patriots, who now stand on the side of Iran. Trump has opened Pandora’s box – whether it can be closed again, future will tell. „
